The second visit with my group to our assigned destination went much better than the first and we were able to get more done. Once we arrived what caught our eye first was the Raley's Supermarket. We went inside and decided to explore. As we walked around we were looking for a good person to interview but it wasn't that easy. Many of them seemed busy or not very approachable. Although we were walking around for some time it was fun because there was five of us. We are always laughing together no matter what it is we are doing. At last we were able to find someone, we got to interview a current worker there. Her name was Baylee, she was very nice and we got to know a little bit about her. She was not a local so getting that perspective from someone who works there was pretty interesting. A good piece of information that she let us know about was that at the turn signal to to get to the shopping center it gets backed up all the way to where you first turn on. So from this my group and I were able to tell that it does get very busy here because of all the stores that are here.

We decided that we wanted to do some more interviewing so we went to go look for a different store in this shopping center,There are many options on where to go here so we we were not sure at first on where to go next. But we decided to go to The Dollar Tree because it is so close to Raley's and they are alike in certain ways but also different money wise. It did not go very successful at this store because we were not able to find someone who wanted to get interviewed. So then we went onto TJ Maxx. While being here we did become very interested in the store itself. Some of us even shopped around and bought some items! Just like the dollar store, it did not go well here either. Our goal was to interview workers from these stores so that we can get around the same perspective but unfortunately we couldn't.
Although we didn't get as many interviews as we wished I got some good information from my perspective. From this being our second visit I was able to notice that at Raley's many caucasian shop here along with small families but mainly adults. Being here I did feel safe but I did not feel uncomfortable because I am not used to this environment and I felt out of place.
When it came to being inside the dollar store it felt pretty normal to me. Not many people were shopping here compared to Raley's and that is a difference I noticed between them. For me, it didn't feel very welcoming, the workers seemed mad or irriated which led for my group and I to leave pretty quick;y.
At TJ Maxx I had a really good time. Coming inside the workers were more welcoming and I as a person felt comfortable not only because of the workers but also because of the people who shop here who were not all caucasian. The prices at this store are also great so that is why my group and I shopped around and became very interested in this store. Out all of the stores that I went to, this store has been my favorite so far.
Since I have only been here twice I do not have a definitive opinion about this certain area. I have been gaining some vibes on certain stores. Some have been bad but some have been good. I still have more visits to do with my group and I know that this will help me with me gaining an attachment or not. I hope that with the more visits I do I can get to know this area better and help myself get to know my way around Chico in a better way.
